Most tour software makes you learn it. TourWell has six places to be, and the one you need is almost always the one it opens on. Here's what each of them is for.
Home
The screen it opens on, and the one most people never leave. The hotel folds down to a single line at the top, with check-out, breakfast, the Wi-Fi and your room on it. Below, the drive and how long it takes, soundcheck, doors, set time, and whatever is booked after.
All Events
Shows, sessions, rehearsals, travel days and off days, grouped by month, past and future. Each carries a status you can trust, so a maybe never quietly becomes a plan.
Calendar
Every artist in a single month view, each in its own colour, with blocked dates and clashes visible without opening anything.
Availability
Ask a line-up about a run and get real answers instead of a thread of "I think I'm free?". Available, tentative or unavailable, from each person, on each date.
Finance
The part most tour apps leave to a spreadsheet. Fees, per diems, and what people paid for out of their own pockets, tracked per date, per person, and settled when it's settled.
Admin
Invite the people you work with and decide what each of them can see. A player sees their own dates and their own money. An admin sees the whole picture.
Off the phone, and on the hotel row
Most of these are the answer to a question somebody asked at a front desk, in a car, or at one in the morning with the app closed.
Breakfast on or off, with the hours. The Wi-Fi, with the password and whatever the card says about connecting. Your room and the door code. Each is typed once at the desk, lives on the hotel row, and reaches everyone on the booking as a push that says the thing itself, not "the hotel changed". On a show day the venue gets the same row: whether it feeds you, and its Wi-Fi.
Widgets for the next moment, with how long until you leave and directions one tap away, including from the dashboard in CarPlay. Tonight's hotel with the room and the door code. Once today is done, tomorrow; late at night, the Wi-Fi. On a show day the next moment counts down in the Dynamic Island.
The truck for load-in, the door for doors, the bell for the call, the microphone for the set. The same glyph for the same moment on the feed, on the widgets and on the paper, so a day sheet reads like the app and the app reads like the day sheet.
The day sheet and the guest list export as PDFs in the app's own look: proper margins, the artist and the show large, and a box to tick beside every name on the door. Both from the + menu on the date they belong to.
Typed once, by nobody
Most of a tour arrives as somebody else's document. This is the part where TourWell does the typing, and then answers the questions people otherwise ask each other in the van.
A promoter's itinerary, an airline confirmation, a hotel booking, a festival advance sheet, a screenshot of the WhatsApp. Drop it in and the dates come out with their venue and address, times, hotel with check-in, flight with airport call and confirmation, already matched to dates you have, so a new itinerary updates the show rather than adding a second one. Every fill is shown before it lands, and “update from this document” on a hotel or flight does the same for one date.
“Who's on Saturday?” “How long is the drive to Bloemfontein?” “What still needs attention?” “What are we doing three months from now?” The answer comes from the schedule, never from a guess: every date, however far out, with the venue, the Wi-Fi, the promoter's number, who has answered and who hasn't. Ask for a change and it shows you the change first; you apply it, it doesn't. Every reply names real people and real times, or says it doesn't know.
Every date, venue, hotel, flight, drive and person on the run is indexed on the phone, so Siri can find them without you naming the app: what's on Saturday, where the next show is and its address, who's playing on the 19th, when you're in Hamburg. “Hey Siri, ask TourWell” takes any question the index can't answer. With no signal, the call time, the venue, the hotel and today's rundown still answer from what the app last saved.
Make a link under My Account and paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or anything else that takes a connector. From then on it can look the tour up as you do, the whole schedule, exactly what you see and nothing you don't, and reason with it alongside everything else it knows. It only reads: nothing on the schedule can be changed from outside the app. Take the link back any time.

Light and dark
A theme that looks right at eleven in the morning rarely looks right at one in the morning, so TourWell keeps a separate choice for each. Pick a light theme and a dark one, and it follows your phone between them.
It follows your account too, so signing in on a borrowed laptop gives you the app you already know rather than a stranger's.
And then some
Offline when the venue has no signal, a show day in the Dynamic Island, notifications you can turn down one at a time, an app lock for a phone left on a dressing-room table. The full list is genuinely long, and unlike most tour software, we publish it.
